Left Door and Edible SF were honored to host the official afterparty of SF Cookbook Week, celebrating the best culinary voices, talent, and cookbook authors to date. Tucked away above a Cow Hollow bus stop, Left Door’s cushy jewel-toned interior and late-night speakeasy vibes served as the perfect backdrop—complete with caviar beignets, jamóncroquettes, and pita crisps stuffed with fresh tuna tartare. The cocktail list was a robust offering of Left Door’s signature house dry martini (with olives or a twist), their espresso martinis served with vanilla miso, a fruity Coco Julius (oloroso cherry, cara cara oranges, coconut cream, and condensed milk), and a chamomile lemon-lavender NA that kept the night in happy spirits. Many thanks to our beverage sponsors Sipsmith London (liquor) and Capo Isetta (wines).

Guests enjoyed live jazz by Ben Slater Trio (Left Door’s resident jazz troupe for their weekend jazz program), as well as a live dance performance by In The Groove Studios (an Edible SF signature). To end the night, guests left with curated gift bags, thanks to our gracious sponsors who made the night possible: Bernal Cutlery, Rose Los Angeles, and Slake SF Bottle & Sundry.
